How this work was made
When something happens suddenly, the photo families turn to first is most often a group photo. Mother next to the bride at the wedding, father in the center of the 60th-birthday gathering, grandmother at the grandchild's first birthday — "this is all we have, can it become a memorial portrait?" The answer is almost always yes.
Davinci's group-photo extraction workflow: ① Separate the face and upper body of the chosen person from the group photo. ② Restore resolution to 11×14 inch memorial standard with 32-year data. ③ Attire conversion (suit, hanbok, formal jacket options). ④ Background refinement (memorial tones). ⑤ Free preview before payment.
This work began with a photo of the mother in everyday clothing. Attire was set to a dignified formal jacket, background to a soft tone — without disturbing her original expression and likeness.
