A wedding group photo restored in landscape 5R. The original hanbok and formal-wear colors and the background tone were brought back through period reference of the era's wedding photos.

An old wedding group photo. Color had faded and the fabric's original tones had gone dim, so the period feel of the hanbok and formal wear had been lost.
Davinci referenced 1950s–1980s hanbok and formal-wear color materials specific to wedding photos and traced the original colors back. Each person's face was reworked one at a time to preserve expression, and the tones of the background, flowers, and props were set to match the era's wedding-photo look.
Finished in landscape 5R, completed as a single frame where the air of that day comes back when seen again.
Forcing color in or painting over damaged areas with an app makes it a different photo. With 32 years of restoration technique, Davinci protects the original color and the original face.

A 100-year-old black-and-white group photo restored through historical research. AI paints roof tiles red and smears faces; Davinci verifies 1920s military 'gukbangsaek' and blue-grey tiles from records to restore not a 'pretty photo' but 'the photo as that era truly was.'

Halloween party photo where red ambient light flooded clothing and faces into a single tone. AI one-click tools could not separate the colors — restored thread by thread to original color by hand.

A 1980s group photo of three friends in front of Bulguksa Temple, restored to color. The yellow discoloration overlay and corner mold marks were lifted away, and the clothing colors, skin tones, and temple paintwork brought back to their original look.
