How this work was made
A photo of five children together against country fields, and a separate photo of an elderly couple the family held in hand. The two were missing from the children's photo, and a picture of the whole family gathered together was needed.
Leave it to AI and when people are added, the height, gaze, and background light fall out of register, leaving the composite plainly visible. Working from the paddy and chili-field light of the five children's original, Davinci matches the position, gaze, and clothing of the two by hand. The elderly couple's original likeness was carried over straight from the photo the family held, keeping the expressions they recognize.
This work brought the elderly couple naturally in among the five children, arranged into one autumn-field frame of seven gathered together. The tone was kept calm to suit a 4R urn print, finished as a photo well suited to a place visited often.
