KBS '살림남2' — Park Young-gyu 'The Greatest Gift'

Broadcast on the Park Young-gyu episode of KBS '살림남2' (Salimnam 2) in 2024, 'The Greatest Gift.' To bring back the image of the son Park Young-gyu had longed for, two strands of work were carried out together at Davinci.

First, a single portrait was refined through Davinci's precision restoration. Preserving the expression and likeness exactly, the tone, background, and detail were reworked, finished as a photograph well suited to a place the family could visit often.

In the same project, separate photos of the two of them were composited into one frame. After precise analysis of light direction and camera viewpoint, their poses, gazes, and attire were arranged into one natural scene, finished as a single photograph that reads as if they had been captured together from the start.

On air, Park Young-gyu received the result and said through tears, "This is exactly the son I had pictured" — a case where the worth of Davinci's 32-year studio standard reached the screen directly.
